i absolutely loved this piece lila. you’re extremely talented; i can’t believe this is your first post. you are so young, trust me (even if it feels like you’re old). here’s a secret: as soon as consciousness strikes you and you start to understand time and the horizon of life, you will always feel old. every year you will say ‘last year i was young, now i’m old’. but how could that be? it couldn’t. it’s just the way that age washes over us. it keeps teasing us that *now* we’re old. over and over. don’t pay too much attention to that voice - it doesn’t mean much :) regardless, you have so much time. i really encourage you to keep writing, and to publish things often, even before they feel *totally* ready. repetitions and consistency are so important when starting to share your work. i’m proud of you for starting and i am so glad i came across your writing! :)
